When we think about our health, usually the first thing that comes to mind is eating well and exercising regularly. Youth Advisory Council often posts about the importance of leading an active lifestyle as a part of reducing your risk of breast cancer, but we sometimes forget about another equally important part of maintaining our health and well being. The #100HappyDays challenge reminded us that that it’s time to bring to light that one thing that so many of us forget to do everyday – just being happy.
When we hear the word exercise, it often conjures images of treadmills, the elliptical, complicated weight machines and expensive gym membership bills. Youth Advisory Council knows that not everyone enjoys a daily trip to the gym and that is why we are always looking for new ways to get our 30 minutes a day.
