The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of dedicated young people who have a passion for raising awareness about breast health in their schools, on their campuses and in their communities. This group of young leaders interact and engage with each other to develop the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s youth-oriented programs.

YAC members work in their communities to enhance their peers’ knowledge about the importance of early detection and manageable risk reduction. YAC members are creative, out-of-the-box thinkers, always looking for new ways to raise awareness and promote the importance of leading healthy and active lifestyles as a part of reducing your risk of breast cancer.

If you’d like to learn more about how to become a YAC member, please email yac@cbcf.org.
