Noticing the lack of awareness about breast health and breast cancer in her community, an ambitious YAC member from Calgary decided it was time to establish a local group that would do hands on events and campaigns to spread the word about the importance of knowing your risk, reducing your risk and leading a healthy lifestyle. The group was formed in the summer of 2013 and they are already in the midst of planning events for 2014!
